A is For mourns the loss of our dear friend, Rebecca Luker.

One of the first artists to appear at Broadway Acts for Women, she also bravely came out and told her abortion story with honesty and passion. She was no less brave in her battle with ALS.

For us, she was a model of courage. In all we do, we’ll seek to honor her spirit of defiance, dignity, and refusal to be ashamed or afraid.

Our hearts go out to her family, her loving husband, Danny, and all of her friends to whom she meant so much.

We love you, Becca.
